I’ve been knee deep in the world of SCORM 2.0 for the last few weeks. LETSI received over 100 responses to its call for papers to help shape SCORM 2.0! Such an overwhelming response has been a bit difficult to process, but it shows great promise for the future of SCORM and LETSI.

I’ve read about half of the submitted papers and so far the common themes seem to be:

-Fix Sequencing
-Web Services Interface / Solve the Cross Domain Problem / Support Offline Usage / Increase Security
-Increase UI Interoperability
-Better consideration for reporting and data persistence
-Better support for assessment, to include graded assessment
-PENS / OLSA support
-Accessibility
-Team Training and Shared Data
-Better Support for the Simulations Community
-Sub-SCO data format specification like DITA and S1000D
