To use any of the features on this page, you’ll need to create a Dispatch.

How to track your content

There are two ways to track the usage of your content. Use a Dispatch package to track individual pieces of content sent to a certain user, or use a “destination” to group together all of the content sent to a specific group of users.

Tracking a Dispatch

A Dispatch package is a tiny SCORM package that’s created when you upload your content to SCORM Cloud and then export it via Dispatch. Dispatch packages are then sent out to LMS’s instead of your original content package, and they give you lots of new functionality including the ability to track your content.

After creating your Dispatch and importing it into an LMS, go to the Dispatch section in SCORM Cloud and click on the actual title of the Dispatch that you’d like to track. From here, click on the “Reports” button.

Once you’re looking at Reports for the Dispatch that you want to track, just click “Change” in the top/left in the Dates section. Select the criteria that works best for you. If you find that a customer has gone over their usage limit, you can temporarily (or permanently) disable their access.

Tracking a Destination

While creating your Dispatch package, you had to select or create a destination for it. A destination is a way of designating where you are sending your content, so can control and track multiple Dispatch packages sent to one destination.

To track a destination that has multiple Dispatch packages sent to it, go to the Dispatch section in SCORM Cloud, click on the title of any dispatch that has been sent to the Destination that you want to track, click on the Destination title that you want to track, then click the Reports button.
