Nothing is foolproof when it comes to guaranteeing uptime. We could quote a crazy uptime percentage guarantee here, but instead, we will simply let the daily uptime stats speak for themselves. The line is pretty boring, and our goal is to keep it that way.

In the event that you are not satisfied with our service availability, notify us by emailing support@scorm.com and we will credit your SCORM Cloud account for the prior month’s service.
We host SCORM Cloud with Amazon Web Services. We piggyback on their exceptional security and compliance precautions. We regularly update our software infrastructure with the latest security patches. Security is always a moving target, we strive to be ahead of the curve, but if you notice a vulnerability, please let us know right away.
All of your SCORM Cloud data is stored using Amazon Simple DB and S3, a super-redundant, highly durable storage infrastructure. Amazon S3 guarantees 99.999999999% durability (that’s eleven 9′s). We’re a bit paranoid, so just to be safe, we backup all of your user and result data offsite every night. If you’re even more paranoid than we are, you can download all of this data whenever you want to, as many times as you want to, automatically and without any additional charge.
The unexpected happens, that is just a fact of life. We’ve built SCORM Cloud from the ground up to be fault tolerant with no single (known) point of failure (props to Amazon for making that easy). Our environment is configured to automatically spin up new servers when a machine fails or when a heavy load slows response times. We have an independent monitor set up to observe SCORM Cloud’s uptime. When the site goes down it lets us know right away – first by email and then by calling the work, mobile and home phones of every technically adept member of our staff. If you want to keep up with our progress during an outage, you can follow us on Twitter @SCORMCloud.
