SCORM Cloud + Dokeos = SCORM that works!

SCORM Cloud

Looking to get maximum SCORM functionality in Dokeos? Add a player that lets you do exactly what you need to do with the full functionality of SCORM 2004 (and 1.2 and that AICC stuff as well). The SCORM Cloud added to your Dokeos installation gives you a learning management system with the most up-to-date version of SCORM and the capability for exporting SCORM, sequencing in courses and compatibility with (almost) any content. Best of all, it’s super easy to make it happen. Here’s all you have to do:

Download & Install

So you’ll need to get the .zip file that has the Dokeos mod files in it. Expand the zip, then copy the appropriate files and folders over. Then add a few code snippets into a couple of files and you’re done! (It’s a fairly straightforward installation process, actually.)

Create Account

Now that everything’s installed, you’ll need to get a SCORM Cloud account set up so we can send you your app_id and secret key to activate the mod. There’s a link right in the Cloud mod with a form to get you started at the free trial level, and you can change it at any time to meet your needs.

Import Content

Now this part isn’t that different from what you’re used to. When you go to the courses page, you’ll have a new link at the top for SCORM Cloud Course. Click on that, choose the file to add if uploading or import an existing course.
